Delivery and Shipping Policy
Subject to availability, we will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver the Services you have ordered as soon as possible after your order is accepted by us. We typically sell products that are in stock and available for dispatch unless specifically specified.
We dispatch items ordered by you as soon as possible typically within 24 hours. We open and inspect boxed items before shipping to maintain high Right First Time rate and customer satisfaction. On rare occasions where we have products like clocks, that require testing the timing mechanism, we may take longer to dispatch, however we will attempt to notify you if this is longer than 48 hours from the time of your order. Such items if ordered on Friday, may be shipped on the coming Monday due to weekend service availability. Typically all orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched Monday unless we notify you of any delays.
We will deliver directly to the address specified in your order. Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday (excluding Sunday, bank and public holidays) normally between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The precise timing of a delivery cannot be specified. Certain deliveries may require a signature to confirm receipt.
Estimated delivery times and costs are shown on our website before you complete your order and will be dependent on the availability and capacity of the courier service we use.
We typically use the following services with the estimated times for delivery as indicated below.
Royal Mail 48: Estimated 2-4 working days from dispatch.
Royal Mail 24: Estimated 1-2 Working days from dispatch.
Royal Mail Tracked 48: Estimated 2-4 working days from dispatch.
Royal Mail Tracked 24: Estimated 1-2 working days from dispatch.
Some products will automatically qualify for free delivery including our tracked services while others you will have to pay a small fee. The options and costs will be clearly displayed at the checkouts where you can make the choice on the service that best suits your requirement.
From time to time we may use other couriers or similar services to fulfill your order as required by demands or availability.
Once delivered, the Services ordered will become your property and your responsibility, we will not accept any liability for their loss, damage or destruction after they have been delivered. Except in relation to Services that are damaged or faulty when delivered or have been incorrectly delivered.
It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct information and delivery address for the Services you order. We do not take responsibility for goods delivered to incorrect address that was specified by you when placing an order on our site.
Orders for delivery outside the United Kingdom
If you choose to access our Site from outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for complying with local laws, if and to the extent that they are applicable. We do not represent or warrant that any Service(s) on our Site is appropriate for use or available in locations outside of the United Kingdom, or that it complies with any legal or regulatory requirements of such other locations.
Please contact us before ordering Services for delivery outside the United Kingdom. We may refuse to accept your order should you not contact us before ordering. Subject to us agreeing to and being able to deliver the Services outside the United Kingdom as they may be subject to import duties and taxes. You will be responsible for these. We have no control over such charges and cannot advise you as to what they may be, although your local customs office may be able to assist. For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, you will be regarded as the importer and it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the Services are to be delivered. Cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
